What happens next?
Once you've made your inquiry, we will schedule a zoom call to properly meet one another! This gives us the opportunity to meet and dive into what is important to you on your wedding day!
Now that we know we are a perfect fit, it's time to book. You'll be sent a contract and invoice. The contract must be signed with the 10% non-refundable booking retainer paid for your date to be officially yours.
With your date secured, it's time to plan the engagement session! I'll send you a short questionnaire to get an idea of your vibe and style for the session. After that we will get the date and time locked in, and prep for a killer time!
Three months prior to your wedding date, we will schedule a meeting to discuss timeline details and more. I will also send out a questionnaire that will give us a great starting point for the timeline.
It's the day you've been prepping, planning, crying, and maybe even sweating over! Today I will help you execute your timeline, keep things stress-free for you, do the worrying so you don't have to, and provide you with an excellent wedding experience.
You'll receive a beautifully curated online gallery of your wedding day (that can be shared with friends & family too). Sneak peeks are delivered within 1 week of your wedding day, with the full gallery delivered within 5 to 6 weeks of your wedding day.

What is your pricing?
Yes! There are collection options that include an In The Fire Photo second shooter. These are photographers who are trusted and vetted by me.
do you have a second shooter?
In order to secure your date, you will need to sign the contract and pay the 10% non-refundable booking retainer.
how do we secure our wedding date with you?
I do. The payments are broken down into 3 instalments. The first is the non-refundable booking retainer followed by two payments for the remaining balance. The final payment is due 1 week before the wedding date.
do you offer payment plans?
No! In the half a decade of shooting weddings, I have always shown up for my couples! In the event I am unable, it is outlined in the contract. I will do my absolute best to find a replacement that is up to my standards. I will still edit your photos in post.
Have you ever not shown up to a wedding?
Travel is include up to 60 miles from Dayton, OH. Outside of 60 miles, travel fees will be based on distance.
Is travel included?
FAQs
Yes. I shoot simultaneously on two SD cards (first back up method) and then upload your photos to a storage device after the wedding (second method). Therefore I use two methods of backup.
do you back up our images?
I firmly believe that having something to touch, to hold, and to feel is essential in preserving the memories of your wedding day—a tangible connection to the love, joy, and emotions that can be revisited and shared for generations to come.
Why are albums and prints important?
Your photos are delivered via an online gallery. This gallery can be shared with friends & family. You can also order prints through your gallery.
How are our photos delivered?
I will hand design the album for you. We will then have a proofing meeting where you will get to see the product before production.
What happens if we buy an heirloom album?
No. The only things I adjust in post are small blemishes that would not normally be there after 1 week.
(example: pimples, small discolorations)
Will you photoshop me or anyone else?
Sneak peeks are delivered within one week. The full wedding gallery is delivered within 6 weeks of your wedding date.

Some of the most meaningful and emotional photos I capture come from interactions between the couple and their loved ones. From tears, to hugs, to quite moments together, I'll be there to document it all in a way that allows you to soak in the moments.
Stories are created through layers of detail and background. Heirlooms are what create that added depth to your wedding day. With a memento that important, you can trust that I will not let it be overlooked. After all, I'm here to capture the fullness of your day and provide you with your own heirloom album to pass on.
Yes. it's a great Blink 182 song. But I'm talking about everything that happens in between the main events. Like walking grandma to portraits, stealing a glance at your new spouse, or wiping away the tear you thought no on saw. These are the little things I've learned to watch for and document. So from beginning to end, I'll be capturing it all for you.
Katie was efficient and organized. She was friendly to work with and very passionate about her work. The most helpful part was her coordinating how to pose and being so encouraging and supportive. She helps you feel more natural in front of the camera.
Katie had ideas for unique shots that I've not seen from other wedding photographers. The under the veil and exit shots were fun and unique. Her overall style stands out from other wedding photographers.

On my wedding day the weather was far from good and Katie did so well working with me to determine what was specifically important to me and finding a way to make it work even with the weather. At no point did she make me feel disrespected when I said anything like "hey I really want to take pictures outside even though it’s pouring." She simply said well let’s find a way to make that work.
I really enjoyed Katie’s energy especially on such a hectic day. From the start I could feel she was on my side and there to support me in any way necessary to make my day perfect. She captured the most special moments and emotions and was always ready whenever we needed to have her catch a quick moment.
